Snow Day 2018 moves to new venue with exciting lineup

Snow Day 2018 celebrates CAC Beardsley Community Farm’s 20th anniversary and supports sustainable urban agriculture and food justice in Knoxville. The 10th annual Snow Day, a CAC Beardsley Community Farm Benefit, will be hosted in a NEW location this year: They hope to see you at The Mill and Mine at 7 pm on Friday, January 26th, 2018.

Street parking is available along West Depot Avenue and surrounding streets. The closest public parking lot is under the I-40 overpass at the corner of E. Magnolia Avenue and Williams Street. The lot is a 3-5-minute walk from the venue. Check out this Downtown Parking Map for more options.

$10 for soup AND admission (plus processing fees).
At the door: $15 admission, plus $5 for soup. We will accept cash and credit cards.

CAC Beardsley Community Farm is Knoxville’s only urban demonstration farm that helps get fresh, healthy, local food to Knoxville’s under-served communities. Snow Day has become a very popular Knoxville tradition with over 800 annual attendees and support from over 100 local businesses in Knoxville. These businesses included several restaurants, local retail, and media outlets. Snow Day is an important event for CAC Beardsley Community Farm that helps raise about 10% of the annual operating budget.

Soup with Flour Head Bakery Bread: This year’s contestants are: Olibea, Tupelo Honey, Cru Bistro, Good Golly Tamale, Juice Bar, The Plaid Apron, Coolato Gelato, Clinch River Breweing, Jig and Reel, the Sunspot and Rebel Kitchen/Old City Wine Bar. Come try delicious vegetarian and vegan soups featuring local ingredients!

Food Vendors: Good Golly Tamale and Wood Oven Eats will be onsite near the turf area at the Mill and Mine. Bring an appetite for soup, tamales, and pizza!

Silent Auction: Come bid on amazing silent auction items!  This year we have over 100 goods donated from over 90 local businesses. The silent auction will run from 7 PM until 11 PM sharp.
