Okeechobee Music Festival have announced their 2018 lineup, and it looks to be heading towards a slightly more electronic vibe then the previous two years. The top four include Arcade Fire, Bassnectar (2 Sets, including a full moon set), Halsey, and Travis Scott.
The next few lines show quite a bit of diversity and feature Leon Bridges, The Flamping Lips, Slightly Stoopid, Big Gigantic, STS9, Lettuce, Twiddle, Turkuaz, Hiss Golden Messenger, Local Natives, Gramatik, Illenium , blackbear, Thievery Corporation, Tycho, Sylvan Esso , Judah & The Lion, Lettuce, Jai Wolf, Ganja White Night (Live) + b2b Boogie T x Dirt Monkey, Big Wild, Misterwives, Allah-Las, Nightmares on Wax, Hippo Campus, Chicano Batman, Hiss Golden Messenger, Susto, and Mikky Ekko. We will say this, every year Okeechobee has exceeded any and all expectations. They go above and beyond to make sure all guests are treated like royalty. As we come into year three, the tingles still remain from the previous experiences. This has fast become one of our top five festivals. You won’t find anything like this out there.
The PoWoW will return, as well as a new addition being called “Okeechobee Gospel Soul Experience” headed by Son Little. This is usually our favorite part of the festival and sees collaborations that are jaw dropping and once-in-a-lifetime.
Tickets begin at $269. Several new packages have been added in the last few days. The shebang goes down from Thursday, March 1 through Sunday, March 4.
UPDATE: On Wednesday (December 13), Okeechobee Fest dropped a whole new batch of awesome on us with the addition of Snoop Dogg (who will lead the 2018 PoWoW!), Lil Dicky, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Ski Mask the Slump God, The Funky Meters, Opiu, SMINO, and Liquid Stranger, to name a few.
