We are eagerly counting down the days until we can share with you the excitement in store for Big Ears 2020. We’ll start to tell all on Tuesday, October 8, so be on the look out. Tickets will go on sale that week as well.
As if in celebration, Big Ears is also thrilled to be hosting OneBeat, a lively and fascinating cross-cultural collaboration that brings together 25 extraordinary musicians from 17 countries.
OneBeat will be in Knoxville from Oct 7 until Oct 9 – collaborating with students and musicians in the community, offering workshops, surprising us with pop-up performances…and then presenting a grand finale at the Bijou Theatre on Wednesday, Oct 9, at 7pm. That show is free to the public – although a donation of $10 is suggested to help cover expenses. You can make a donation and assure your spot at the Bijou here. If you can’t afford the donation, no worries…you will still be admitted to the Bijou on a first come, first serve basis…capacity permitting.
