The celebration of summer continues, and Sweet P’s Barbeque has several fun events for patrons to enjoy in July. The Soul House, 3725 Maryville Pike, will be closed July 4-11 for cleaning and maintenance.
The July events for the two locations include:
Wednesday, July 20, 6:30 p.m.; Soul House, 3725 Maryville Pike: The free Songwriters in the Soul House series features Knoxville-based Jennifer Niceley with hosts, husband-wife rockers Tim and Susan Lee.
Wednesday, July 27; 5-9 p.m.; Downtown Dive, 410 W. Jackson Ave.: “Taste and Toast” will support the InterFaith Health Clinic, and $5 of every meal will be donated to the clinic. Join the restaurant to support the clinic and enjoy a Southern shrimp boil with a NOLA Brewing Company beer. Honky-tonk/country singer Mike McGill also will perform.
