Shaky Knees announces 2022 festival lineup with Green Day, Nine Inch Nails and My Morning Jacket at the top

Just weeks after the completion of the 2021 version of the Shaky Knees Music Festival, the 2022 lineup has been unveiled.

And it’s glorious (see below).

The festival will move back to its traditional early spring weekend in next year, after having to move to October this year due to Covid19.

The lineup features two first time headliners in Green Day and Nine Inch Nails and will welcome back My Morning Jacket for the second time. The festival gets its name from a My Morning Jacket lyric in the song, “Steam Engine” (see below).

The second lines on the poster for each day include Billy Idol, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chvrches and Khraungbin.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at shakykneesfestival.com/tickets (we saved you a step so you can go straight to the buying page).

At a time when festival pricing has continually skyrocketed, Shaky Knees has kept its costs to the consumer low. Tier one general admission tickets started at just $179 and you can capture a tier four GA (the highest and final tier after the others are sold out) for just $235.

The festival will take place from April 29-May 1, 2022 in Atlanta’s Central Park.
