Festival season is going to be astounding this year. Our first stop is always Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, TN at Tom Lee Park. The tickets are $40/day and $95/weekend. For less than $100, this is a no brainer. The lineup keeps getting better the more we look at it. Headliners include Lenny Kravitz, The Flaming Lips, The Avett Brothers, Paramore, Ed Sheeran and Wilco. The middle card is even more compelling with Ryan Adams, Pixies, John Fogerty, Band of Horses, St. Vincent, Cage the Elephant, Hozier, Five Finger Death Punch, Wale and Flogging Molly. BSMF is known for their throwback acts which include Slash, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Spin Doctors and Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts and Soul Asylum. The early 90’s acts has our fourteen year old selves doing jump kicks like Mac from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The weekend passes often presale out and single day passes will go very quickly. Don’t hesitate. Don’t overthink it. Don’t miss this amazing beginning of our favorite time of year. See you in Memphis.
