A successful first year helped ensure that Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival will return to Franklin, TN on September 24 and 25 this year.

If you have already forgotten, the inaugural Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival featured renowned artists such as Willie Nelson, Wilco, Weezer, Sheryl Crow, Cage the Elephant, Band of Horses, Steven Tyler and more, as well as special Pilgri-mashups, where one-of-a-kind pairing of musicians collaborated with one another on stage.

But it wasn’t just music. To keep our bellies happy, local and regional vendors showcased their various signature dishes, craft beers, cocktails and a selection of fine wines. Furthermore, beautiful artisan creations could be found in The Bazaar.

The Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN – which is just about 20 minutes south of Nashville – is the perfect setting for this family-friendly event. Yes, family-friendly! There was even a stage dedicated just to the kiddos: the Pilgrim’s Family Stage. Plus, the hours of the festival ensured that everyone was back home and in bed at a decent time each night.

Getting to and from the festival was quite simple last year. Parking passes could be purchased, but many chose to bring bikes and rode them to the festival entrance, where several bike racks were provided.

Stay tuned: more information including the 2016 artist lineup, on-sale ticket dates and vendors will be released over the coming months. But in the meantime, to help you get in the mood for September, watch last year’s official highlight video here:
